Default Preping my 302 ho block for refresh, help!

hello gents, i have my donor 302 ho that ive been tinkering with now for a few nights. its all stripped apart and its about ready to head off for machining. i punched the old frost plugs out tonight and tried to remove what appeard to be a 3/8 screw in pipe plug from the side of the block. there are two of these plugs, (one on either side of the block) and both have stripped. i was wondering if these are oil gallery plugs or not? and how critical they were. i always thought the oil plugs were those located beside the cam plate and at the rear by the bellhousing area. should i continue to punch these out now that their stripped or just say screw it and leave them in? i wanted as much removed before i sent it to get hot tanked. thanks guys.

I think those plugs will be removed during the tanking.
You do realize as the result of a 'hot tanking' the cam bearings will be destroyed.....
