Did ford use galvanized steel in the foxbody body panels?

Default Did ford use galvanized steel in the foxbody body panels?

I heard this recently, was curious if true and if so when did they start?

Pretty sure the answer is no. I'm not sure why but that just sounds like a bad idea to me.

What would make it a bad idea? And I have found several places online that say ford DID start to use galvanized in some lines.

Have a 93 GT that has an electric SR, has a privacy cover and lifts then slides rearwards, embarking in body work to prep for paint we'll see how they installed it but seems legit. thoughts of removing and cover hole. If anyone has info on any companies that made these or installed let us know
