Default Maf question, Will it fit?

I grabbed an Explorer intake as well as the maf off of the explorer. My 93 has a round clip with 4 pins. The explorer maf has a square clip with 4 pins. Is this the same maf with a different clip or is it totally different?

As stated, do not use it, it's set up for a different ECU and wiring harness.

Its still a different calibration, sure it'll plug in, but your car wont like it. Gotta remember your car has 8 cylinders, not 6.

If you want a new maf, get one from a 94-95 mustang

Thanks for the advice guys. I was told at pick and pull that stock mafs aren't calibrated for a certain type of injector, only aftermarket mafs are. He said that as long as the maf has a certain part # on it I would be fine, which it did. Guess I should probably just buy larger injectors and a matched maf considering I have aluminum heads, explorer intake, and a trickflow stage 1 cam.

you should buy 24# injectors, get an SN-95 maf like I suggested, and have the car tuned.
