Default Removing gt body kit

Hello fellas,
So, I am not the biggest fan of the gt and how it looks, so I would like to take the gt body kit off of the car. I know I have to get lx front and back bumpers. Any suggestions as far as taking the kit off, is it just screwed on or is it more complicated than I can hope? Any suggestions would be excellent. Have a good one guys.

Its the bumper covers, a lot of 10mm nuts to undo and rivets holding the front onto the headlight panel iirc.

Alright, for some reason I remember someone mentioning that the ones on the side are hard to get off, is it also because of rivets, do I just drill the rivets out? I have never dealt with rivets before, pathetic i know.

You realize you'll have visible holes after the conversion unless you weld them right? I've always just drilled rivets out. I just start with one size bigger than what fits in the hole and go from there until I get the right size then do the rest. Don't know if that's the best way or not.

And SKAR is right, I *think* you have 4 bolts on each side holding it to the fender and I *think* it's 4 rivets on top along with 2 bolts on top in the middle.

I also heard about the holes, luckily I have a welder, what about when I put on lx bumpers, do those just screw in or will I be using rivets as well?

The rivets are for the header panel actually, so if your lx bumper already has one you won't have to deal with rivets.
