Default Holley Systemax

Hey guys quick question. I just bought an '87 gt that has a holleysystemax on a 5.0 & I was wondering what it is & what kind of power it's adding if any. Thanks in advance for any info :-). ~Q

So it still adds power even if it's only an upper intake upgrade? Or does that mean the valve covers were upgraded too? Sorry I'm still learning engines lol

it should be a lower and upper intake!!! you cant put a holly intake on top of a stock intake.... if the car has factory heads then you prob not gaining much and prob lossing some down low!

Okay guys I found out that it has a holley systemax complete intake system. They had the whole package installed. Intake, heads, the works. I'm wondering though how much horsepower would that put me at???

depends on if it has a maf upgrade or still SD and all supporting mods, faster than stock it should be but holley heads aren't the greatest, the intake is a well performing intake expecially when ported

the holley intake is one of the better intakes out there. its a nice all around street intake and when ported flows pretty well

The only car I seen with the holley hci was better than stock but resulted in a waste of money! Idk why it wasnt my car but it was not impressive at all! But hey that DA and I mean da prolly had a 2.73 gear! Maybe you get better results than he did!
