Default contour fan

Has anyone used the contour dual fan set up how many cfms does it put out? I have intake heads and a cam in the car (if that matters) I have a black magic fan now and it stays about 190 and I'm fixing to put ac in the car again and want it to stay cool I know the fan i have isn't going to do it and the mark viii fan pulls to many amps and you have to trim it and it to close to the water pump

the contour fan pulls the same amount of amps as the Mark VIII fan does. All factory stock fans that you normally get will......

What makes you say the black magic fan won't keep up? The car should run at 190* just as it is. Why don't you just go ahead and put on a factory flexfan again if your worried?

As for the MarkVII fan, yea you have to trim it but I have plenty of clearance between it and the water pump. It is a bad *** fan though!

A buddy of mine had the black magic fan on his stock 91 it wouldn't keep up with the ac on so he went to the mark viii fan and he has about 1/16" of room from the water pump and we had to drop it about an 1" below the radiator to clear the water pump after we trim it if we go any more the blades will hit the fins on the radiator. I agree it pulls a s**t load of air but I dont like the way it is set up that's why I was looking into the contour fan Couse its low profile fan. We both have the 2 core al radiator so i don't want to run into the same problem

the Taurus fan works well we run one on our car it is fine in 100 degree traffic and is smaller then the Lincoln fan but it still takes a lot of amps. to run it

for what its worth i have a contour fan. it fits really well, almost like it was a stock piece. i picked it up at a local junk yard for $40. there were multiple ones there. i am sure you know but make sure to get the V6 contour fan if you end up going with the contour fan.
