i bought a professional products typhoon intake and when i purchased it, it said Due to the Intake inlet diameter, 75MM Throttle Bodies cannot be used. The throttle body plate comes into contact with the inlet flange. not sure to go 70mm or 75mm i would appreciate any help thanks

I agree... 70mm is plenty enough.

Hell, I downgraded to a 75mm from my 90mm TB because it was just too damn big. With a flow capacity of 1300+ CFM, on my engine that barely pulled 760cfm...

I am going to make the assumption and say you don't need anything bigger than a 65mm but the 70mm will allow for growth.

Also, your post in the Tech Section was was removed. Do not double post again...Thanks!

I use to have a typhoon and a 70mm throttle body and needed to work on the intake a bit for it to fit... well line up. The port on the intake was basically out of round, it had clearance on one side of the throttle body, but not the other.

That being said, a typhoon can be opened up big enough for a 75mm with enough work.... even though its not needed on your setup more then likely.
