I wasn't worried about the drinking until he got the tester, I was worried about the ticket. I don't know what I blew but, they scared me. They had two cars out there lol.

Anyways, they let me go and the young guy wanted to know when they would get one for the durango.lol

Car made 427hp and a little less torque. He said I maxed out the meter. So, when the powerpipe goes on, we are going to put on a sct 90 something. He said he would let me have it at dealer cost. Which was 180 something.

I still don't think it was as quick as the kenne bell on the explorer engine but, it is still pretty fast for a street car.

That right there is the problem....you didn't drink enough to have a DUI but open container is a no no, no matter how much you drink...

Good job by the way

Yeah, I usually don't do that. I haven't had a 12 pack worth of beer this year. Plus we were out 10 miles in the sticks when I drank it so I felt safe knocking it down. It was stupid though.

My boss does it a lot and he is going to get popped one day. I told him that is the last time I go through that.

are you going to go for more power with the new meter or are you just going to switch it out for tuning sake?

We probably will get some more out of it. I am not really sure how much more the pump can put out though.

If it makes a little more, it ain't going to hurt my feelings. Biggest thing I am happy about is, I still haven't seen an oil leak. I do need to get the pcv system figured out but, at least it looks like the motor is good.

yea I would think if I had a vortech I would push the peak power pretty hard, so it makes more sooner, you know?

that way its not as rev happy, and you don't have to ring it out all the way to get some good power.

It makes like 8.3lbs right now at 5800 and the meter is done. It will cut the car off at 5800.

As long as you can keep the rpms up around 3500 it is good as far as tq. 3000 you can feel it come on but, really doesn't get there tq wise until 3500.

I am thinking along the same lines as you. I would rather have it earlier and shift when the tq falls off.

Got my powerpipe installed today along with the smog delete and a new tensioner pulley for accessory drive. I was going to get a pic up but my phone died.

I actually kept about the same boost by putting on a larger pulley. I did that so I could drive it like I want before going back to the tuner.

The best part about the install is now I can actually tell I have a Mondo bypass valve since changing that annoying tensioner pulley. It makes a loud WHOOOSH sound when I let out of it. lol

I was not happy that it took me four hours to do this. But, I had someone talking to me the whole time so, it wasn't that bad I guess.

Haven't really done much to the car lately but, tomorrow a new top is going on. I will show a before and after of it so you all can see my noobish craftsmanship.

I do have a video that I have watched several times so I feel I can do it.

Other than that, I am waiting on the tuner to tell me when to come back. He got my SCT meter in so all is good there. Only thing I am thinking about adding is a boost a pump and re-installing the meth nozzle.
