hi guys new to this forum and plan on being a regular so my question(s) is I just bought a 89 hatch with a cracked block for 1,000 and I was wondering before I put It all back together could I use gt40-p heads with little or no modification (OTHER THEN HEADERS) and also what about just gt-40 heads and the explorer upper and lower intake is there alot of mod to acheive that? THANKS.

gt-40's will fit without modification


gt40P's just require special headers.

Make sure you price crate engines too. By the time you add everything up the prices are not bad, plus you get a warranty.

Leave the explorer intakes to the exploders and trucks! heads as adder has said will work but unless your dirt broke dont bother with them! you can get a set of aluminum heads now under 1k why use junk iron heads!

@adderMk2 do you know exactly which headers will work as far as shortys go?
@venomantidote 95 yea around 1k is definately too much for just the heads as far as my wallet goes this is going to be a budget build and all in all just a toy
