Default 1988 Gt Gauges Trouble and Speedometer

I am wondering if anyone has had issues with their cluster. My gauges seem to work when the car turns on but are inaccurate. My gas gauge only stays at 3/4. My oil and temp gauges are way low. Is it the cluster or is it the sensors?

The speedometer does not work and i have replaced the cable, gear and module. I have 3.73 gears and a reddish gear in the transmission? When I route the cable, my headers destroy it. Any ideas???

It's been a while since I've had to cluster out of mine, but if I remember there are two plugs as well as the spedo cable. I'd start by pulling the cluster out and make sure there is no corrosion on the plugs maybe even add a little die electric grease to them. When you plug everything back in make sure the plugs are fully seated.
