Default New to me 93 GT Convertable

Hello all,

I'm new here, just wanted to say hello, and looking forward to learning more about the old mustang. I bought a new 93 5.0 LX notch back in 93 and have been wanting another for a long time. I picked up this 5 sp Vert yesterday with 85k miles on it, and it's pretty nice. Only thing done to it is 2" lowering springs which i will be replacing with stock suspension, since i will be restoring it.

Da** If I had a 93 vert with that stance I would be a happy camper. Car looks good man!

Thats a very clean vert. Keep the springs.

Thanks everyone, but i'm getting a bit older and the stiff ride isn't very nice anymore. I don't need a Caddy type ride, just smoother. If anyone has some low mileage springs sitting around, i would like to have them. I planned on just buying new stock ones, with struts and shocks.

It's a 20 year old car, it's not the springs. Change for some quality shocks with an alignment and enjoy it, you won't feel much better with stock springs. Looks sweet, btw.
