1990 - 1993 5.0 vs. 1994 - 1995 5.0

This is primarily a California Rules issue, which is one of the examples of some the non-sensical laws in this State, as the car passes emissions. Fortunately there are a lot of other redeeming characteristics that keep me here. In the end, the engine is still a 5.0L Windsor Pushrod V-8 Engine, which was discontinued when the 1996 4.6L Modular engine was introduced. It's a great engine and there are abundant spare parts to keep cars with these engines on the road for many years to come.

Wrong the 5.0L as stated before were not fazed out until 01'. just out of the mustangs in 96 however you can find a few 96 models with 5.0L from the factory!
I hated the BS laws in Cali when i was stationed out there! The only thing i liked was the no smoking in public gatherings! Not even in the stadiums!

Do you have a C.A.R.B. sticker for that CAI? If you dont they wont pass you. Trust me I know. You need to have a C.A.R.B. sticker on any aftermarket intake parts (upper, lower, CAI, ect) to pass the visual. I ****ing hate this state.

Yeah I just don't get the California BS. If it passes emissions, what else matters? Who cares about the age of the motor, or if there is a carb sticker on it. If the fricken exhaust is analyzed and meets the legal requirements, why does anything else matter? Sounds silly to me...
