why would you put explorer heads on a stang?

Question why would you put explorer heads on a stang?

just bought a 92 gt.it has been rebuilt,they changed to gt40 heads and intake from a 97 explorer. Ive heard of other peaple doing the same.Why is this. The car also has an e303 cam a 75mm throtle body,msd dist.,cool air intake shorty headers w/ x pipe.t5 tranny and 373 gears.its pretty fast but nothing special.

Long story short, the heads are better than stock and work well on a budget, but there are much better options. Same goes for the intake
