Ok, as most of you know, I had to start over after I was cut off and my restored fox destroyed so I think I'll get some input from you guys for this build.

The car is going to be a road race vehicle but I also want it to stand out from all the other cars during car shows. This brings me to my question, what shade of red should I paint it? I'm keeping it red instead of going with satin black because it'll be cheaper and well...I'm an attention *****. I love the looks I get driving a red car.

Either way, while the Medium Scarlet red is nice, it just doesn't stand out much. So here's where y'all come in. I need a nice shade of red. A red you'd put on a sleek restomod muscle car. Not too bright where the cops will be able to see me without even looking in my direction but not too dark that it's maroon.

I'd really love to keep ford colors but I'm open to all.

The side of this mr2 is a pretty red to me. It looks like the hood was attempted to be matched in the pic though.

That is the exact type of red I'm looking for. Nice and dark but not maroon. Lowkey but aggressive. Love it.

or you just go to the paint shop, look at some samples and talk to the guys there... usually very knowledgable about what to get (unless they are complete morons)
