First off I have very little experience working on cars. I'm only 20. I've seen Ford Racing Performance Oil Filters. I didn't know if they are better than the motorcraft filter I used last week. I don't have the track pack. The only options are Automatic and Tech Pack. Also I'm not racing it, but it is my daily driver and unfortunately I sit in a lot of traffic, so I plan on changing the oil more frequently than the recommended intervals.Thanks in advance!!

Motorcraft filters are made by Purolator(good thing), if I'm not mistaken. I've personally never used a Ford Racing filter, but as long as it's not made by Fram you should be fine with it.

I always use Motorcraft myself.

BTW, this section is for old 5.0 (fox and sn95), not the new 5.0.
