Does he have any receits? Lotta money with out proof that everything in the ad is new. But not unreasonable if everything is new. Theres better heads out there. Pass on the heads.

I think those heads are junk on a 347.
Those are also dished pistons, great for boost but crap for N/A.
Might be an all right deal however if you can use it..........

What about the rod and stroke length? Doesthat sound right and the bearing sizes and n all the measurements? He said he has the parts from previouse builds and bought some from his business so I'm hoping the parts are new and I jus don't know if it's worth 1400 I would think 1000 any imputs?

I think I would be leary of an engine bought off of craigs list. Most pple that take the time money and effort to put together a decent engine are gonna save receipts , and it sounds as if the guy was scavenging parts from where ever he could find them so your buying used second hand parts that the only history you have is from a guy who got them from a guy who got them from who knows where.

Yeah receipts are everything. Aftermarket parts and the link will come w instructions too, I would even ask for those. I personally wouldnt take anybody's word, unless they were a recommended engine builder, especially when it comes to bearing clearances.

Wait a couple of weeks and offer him $800, he'll probably take it.
