Default couple quick revs before I get it in for h/c/i swap

Im gonna be getting the 94 in the garage with in the next month or so to start on the h/c/I swap.

Im looking into getting some gt40 heads a cobra intake and the jury is still out on the cam I want. I know for sure it will be gt40 heads so any suggestions on the cam, rods and rockers are welcome.
Probly gonna order the cobra intake used off ebay and will be going to the local cherry pick auto parts to look for a set of explorer heads to rebuild. The place I go to is a sort of u pull it place so I can get the heads for about 30 bucks each. Mind you I have an 89 block in an sn95 platform.

Thought I would get a before video up of a few quick revs with the current setup. I only brought it up to around 3500 rpm cause the neighbors get a bit peeved at me sometimes lol . Hope the vid embeds correctly

If you can wait about another month, I'm swapping in some LSx valve train components onto my heads and will have complete valve springs for sale. They're brand new, haven't been ran. The GT40 springs are trash from what I hear.

That cam isn't a bad choice but the polace selling it didn't put the specs up right.
Those .006 duration numbers are really the .050 duration numbers.
just a minor screw up but that mass marketer probably don't know the differance himself............

pro comp junk knock off......this really gets me :"If you are looking for a race grade head that is comparable to Edelbrock, Dart, Trick Flow and AFR " Comparble??? in what way??? looks?? because it's been a known fact that the quality of all the valvetrain components used in those heads is sub par, many on forums have found themselves either right out of the box or after a few thousand miles of spirited driving, having to redo, guides as well as valves jobs and springs, they won't last....if you can offer thoses heads at that price, ask yourself...where are they cutting corners???

Well I thought I would get a video up of the car after I did the intake and headers .

I had originally intended to do an hci , but after some research and homework I quickly found out my budget was a bit short for getting some good heads so I decided to just do the intake and a set of long tube headers and off road H pipe for now.
I guess Ill need to find a better Idler pulley , the one I got from autozone always squeeks till the car runs for a little bit then quits but it drives me nuts.

Haha I knew Id take crap about not having a shirt.. At least I changed out of my pjama shorts first.

But yes I did notice a difference in power , not so much as I would have liked if I would have had the money to do the cam and heads.
When the engine was all stock with just the 3.73 gears it would spin through first gear and chirp a little hitting 2nd. Now hitting 2nd it will break loose and start shifting sideways . The biggest difference I noticed is in the higher rpm range , the stock intake and headers it would fall on its face around 5,400 rpm and now it pulls clear through to redline .
And I love the sound of the long tubes
