Default The stang should be back on the road this weekend!

My car has been parked for the winter since November. Made some pretty good progress...got the whole front end repainted due to peeling of the paint... New 6 piece headlights...put in a ford racing a/c delete(went from a 84" belt to a 71.5" belt) new cap and rotor, new ford racing 9mm plug wires, autolite copper plugs. Can't wait to hit the road! 3.73's will also be going in next month some time...no more 2.73's! Finally spring...been going nuts not driving it!

Your gonna luv those 3.73 gears. I would have opted to just delete and bypass the ac all together though with a much shorter belt. I first tried one of the ac delete pullys and had nothing but problems with it, squeaking and chirping bearings. But it was a pretty cheap one so hope yours is better . I did the smog delete and ac delete and think my belt ended up being a 64 or 65 inch belt.

I did the a/c delete that moves the power steering pump up to where the a/c was. I didn't want the delete with the pulley. I also bypassed the smog...all of my a/c and smog components have been removed. Yeah I can't wait to get the gears in!

I went from a 2.73 one wheel peel to a 3.55 posi. Could not believe the difference. Now I have to watch how much gas I give it going around a corner, as it tends to drift around corners if I give it too much. Love it!
