I bet the DA wasnt 4500 and you didnt have a 2600 stall which didnt let you hit power til the 330 ft?

It should run those times at see level. The DA & sixty is killing the times.

gearing sucks, heads suck, stall sucks, and your altitude there is a killer, best thing you can do for that combo , rather than start all over, is add a supercharger or turbo, on3 kit = best bang for the buck

Good advice mjr. OP. forced induction is a much better set-up for cars at high DA over a naturally aspirated car.

One way to sort of beat high density altitude is to use more gear than you would ordinarily use.
Like 4.30 when you would use 4.10 at sea level.
Thats why some cars in stock eliminator in NHRA use such wild gears.
As for as the air goes I know it will only get worse until about the first of October.
I've seen over 7300'A.D. here at Tucson in July........

Yeah I wish I could run at seas level. Last place I ran was Bandimere in Denver, CO. So I only know about high altitude 5000+ DA drag racing haha.

It makes a huge difference. At Bandimere you lost basically 2 seconds on a stock NA car.

I agree with you man... on3 ? I have never heard of them? $1600 for a full kit is a DAMN good price, but makes me think it lacks quality pieces. Do you have any experience with it?

Yes 3-5 lbs of boost generally overcomes the losses from high altitude.

I have seen crazy gears but this is a Street / Strip car, so I will most likely stay with my 3.27s for that 2.1 k 70 mph cruising speed. Its great for the mpgs...

I am used to 7000+ DA... I normally raced at 8500 at Bandimere in the summers in my old 2011 GT. I just want to run faster than it... I ran a 13.06 @108.7 mph there...

The speed mods will come later though. Right now I have to make her look good. Full interior black is on its way...

yes i have experience with it, installed one for a friend, he to runs ported e7 heads, the turbo will make up for the shortfalls in the combo, with 12-14 lbs of boost on a simialar build be made 479 to the tires and ran 11.2 @123

Before you go throwing more power at this this setup, which will only disappoint you even more, throw a set of DRs or slicks and put it on the dyno to see what it puts down as it may need a tune. These 2 things might be all you need.
