There is that much altitude differance.......
I'm sure there's altitude difference but a little over a tenth is almost nothing when 2 cars are a second and a half apart. Say DJ ran 13.8 at firebird, being conservative and taking away .15 he still is capable of a 13.95. There's no elevation changes where I'm at and the 3 tracks around me differ by 1 or 2 tenths. Prep, timing systems and slight temp changes will do that.

Unless you meant 1.5 seconds. Lol

Agreed above... but saying you run faster with less mods is worthless unless you can compare...

Mods are smog delete, CAI, and ported GT40p heads. That's it. Stock 2.73 gearing and ran on Falkien tires. Ran a 14.7 bone stock and a 13.9 after mods.

3.27s are not ideal but 2.73s? YIKES! You can gain a ton by going with 3.73s.

I expected a little more trap speed, even at that altitude, but my estimation could be off.

Either way, a bigger gear and DRs should drop a full second off of your ET.

One thing about S.I.R. on test/tune nights is that usually there is next to nothing for track prep.
If I take my 10.80 car out there I'll wait until a bunch of cars have made runs before I even bother to make a run.
Otherwise it's pedaling, skating and generally not a real good run.
Car will give me a 11.75 or something when I know theres a 10.80 in it......
