A wrecked 94-95 mustang is basically out of the question. I have been looking for one for over 6 years and have yet to come across one. It is an explorer motor that is in the truck with the explorer upper and lower intake if that helps any. Just trying to find a way to get this thing going. Yes, there's a way around it. Since you have an Explorer 5.0, the upper intakes are the same style as the 86-93 Mustangs. The 94-95 models have a different style. So, you can either spend $100 for a throttle body adapter elbow (Trickflow and Edelbrock sell them) and continue searching for the 94-95 throttle cable...
You can stick with the explorer/fox style throttle body configuration. This will allow you to use a fox body throttle cable. Here's a link to the cable:
I can send you a document I have that explains and outlines the swap. Just requires a little wire splicing for the TPS I believe. In my opinion, the foxes have the better setup. It really cleans up the engine bay and dealing with the passenger side valve cover is much easier. Supposedly it also helps with throttle response and idle
