Hi guys,
I just picked up a nice 94 gt 5 speed with 90k miles. It's been drivin maybe 100 miles in the last year. When I tach out a gear it spark knocks the more Tom's the worse it gets. Maybe it's old gas? Any ideas? Thank you

TOM'S?
Guessing some autocorrect bs happened. When does it knock, just at the top? Go ahead and put some fresh gas in it, not like its going to hurt anything. Have you done any maintenance yet?

What are the correct steps to sea foam a 94 gt? I know some people just pour it in the gas but I'm guessing a need to run it through a vacume line while its running? Thanks

while the engine is running pull the break booster vacuum line . A lot of people just pour it right in I like to use a small kerosene funnel or something so its not so tricky to get it in the line. Its gonna smoke , ALOT. And if you pour it too quickly the engine will stumble and die.

Let the engine warm up then you pour in 1/3 of the can, let the engine suck it in. Easiest to pour the 2/3 into the gas tank, then suck up the remaining third. After the seafoam is sucked up shut the engine off. Best to get a second person to shut it down and give it gas while sucking it up to keep it from dying.

Don't forget the fuel filter, it can cause problems too.

on the back of the can it has all the directions, I often use the can that has a nozzle that allows the intake to draw it in after the Maf
