Default another "what intake should i get" thread

I know this has been beaten to death and I thought I knew what direction to go but im having trouble pulling the trigger so here it is....I have a 92 gt 5 speed it is a stock bottom end with an e303 cam with 1.72rr, gt40x heads (unported) and 4.10 gears. im stuck between the rpm airgap and a vic jr. the car will be used around town as a cruiser not a DD and it might see a few trips to the track. I have a edelbrock 750 carb id rather run a 600 but I have the 750 for now... the car also might see a 100 shot..im also consernd with the height with the nitrous plate I have a 2"? cowl and would like to keep it that way.. if I had 3.73s and 1.6rr id go with the gap for sure but more lift and steeper gears might like the vic???? idk im stuck... help thanks guys

With all the "Mights" you have down the road I'd go with the victor Jr.

air gap is all you need, your build is not suited to a victor jr

You don't have the cam and heads needed for a Vic Jr.
Use the Air gap thing or maybe a Weiand Stealth.....

They were first used with manual tranny's back before high stall converters were developed, good converters changed all that idea.
I've been using double pump type carbs for many years with auto trannys..........

dp has nothing to do with what trans for have..lol... 600 vac sec carb is big enough for your set up you just have to fine tune it...i would change the squirters and change the power valve out if i'm not mistaken it has a 6.5 hg i would use a 6.0 hg to start and when you get a lager cam go to a lower one ..a 50cc pump will help as will a different throttle linkage cam... a jet change would also be needed you have to read the plugs and if you need a little more cfm you can mill the horn or get a stub stack ffbrfore you mill it. you don't have the heads or cam to use a vic...stick with a daul plane intake unless you use a 175 hp nos
