Nice man , love to see a fresh pain job on the power plant.
Ive been meaning to pull mine down and paint the engine bay , block , and all the misc. parts just waiting till I do the heads and cam then I may pull it all

yeah it was a lot more time intensive in some ways then expected, although im really happy I put in the time! I painted all accessory brackets, pulleys, alternator, https://mustangforums.com/forum/5-0l...so-i.htmlpower steering, and my ac delete pulley, lower and upper intake manifold, and water pump in a high temp gloss black. Block, oil pan, timing cover and maybe the bell housing are Red. I would also like to make the aluminum heads look better...was considering trying to wire wheel them clean and mag polish them shinier.. any ideas?

Ive used a die grinder and some of those 3m roloc pads with the green or brown material that twist on , they really do a good job of polishing aluminum .

There kinda small about 1.5 " around and takes some time but they really do make em shine.

Good job man! My engine will be put in next week, kinda makes me wanna have him (installer) trick mines out a bit..

Post up a pic when you get it all back together. I would have done the pan black, just my opinion. We need to start a "best looking engines" thread

needed to know if the car would run so I skimped out on refinishing upper intake and TB... will get to that this week I think
