Default Ignition problems

Ok I'm a little baffled right now. My car has killed 2 stock ford ignition boxes this month. What would cause this? Right now I don't have a clue. Would upgrading to a MSD type ignition/coil/dizzy cure this? Excuse my ignorance on this subject in advance.

Sorry to here this blue, I was expecting dyno #'s and track times on your next post.

Just off the top of my head, and just guessing …… bad ground, voltage regulator, loose connection somewhere in harness. I'm sure you went over all that already thou. Wish I could help more.

LOL thanks. Dyno'd 302HP 321TQ not running right. Never took it back to the shop that worked on it after they had it 4 months and couldn't find the issue! Ran 12.3-12.7 on motor last week in 95 degree heat after I replaced the throttle position sensor. If I ever get the electrical gremlins figured out I'll hit it with the spray. I've actually had so called professionals go over every thing. They just replace parts til they get it right. Which I could have done myself. So far I/they have replaced the PCM, dizzy, TPS, stock ignition twice!

Well ordered a MSD ignition box, distributor and coil. Also ordered a new sve altanator. The MSD stuff should be a decent upgrade over stock even if they weren't needed and the new altanator comes with a new voltage regulator. I've had the main harness checked at a shop. I'm running out of parts to throw at this problem. The car runs strong but I dont have alot of faith in it right now.
