1995 Mustang/393 Stroker Build Thread
Welp, its that time guys. I know a lot of you have followed the couple threads of teaser pics of the stroker. Finally putting the car up for the winter (lol, I know its September) so out comes the motor. I have tons of pics of this thing, only a few were posted in other threads, so here is the official build thread. As the stroker sits patiently in the garage, I'm working on getting that worn out POS 302 out of my bay (I'm actually very curious to see what's shot in it, pretty sure its the rings). Anyways, pics await and I imagine the next couple months will be pretty orgasmic for some of you. Stay tuned!
.... I'm going to need a new hood

Got the intake tubing and upper manifold removed.
I knew it was burning oil, but I didn't know it was that bad. The inside of the manifold (as well as my exhaust tips) are completely caked in gunk.
I don't know why I took this picture, other than the upper and lower radiator hoses were removed to drain the cooling system.

I did have to move the car about 10 feet to get it in front of the garage. Apparently I didn't let it sit long enough before going to work. After removing the manifold, I relieved the fuel pressure. I got a face full of fuel, and I wish I had the camera for it.
Anyways, I borrowed a buddy's quick disconnect tool for Ford's A/C and fuel lines. I have yet to do the A/C, as I'm still on the fence for getting rid of or keeping it. These are kind of a pain if you haven't done them before (me).

Completely off the ground now:
Grabbed my neighbor's engine hoist as well. I will take a few more pictures of the engine bay tomorrow since I had to be at work. Passenger side electrical connections are probably 90% done, don't know about the driver's. Engine harness has been moved to the side. It basically looks like a bomb went off in the engine bay lolol. My fingers hurt from messing with those stupid clips on every connection. And if I come across another plastic push screw...... Sigh, more work for me!
I think thats about it for now. I'll definitely have more uploaded some time this weekend.
