Ok I got the balancer on today , fixed a leak in the thermostat housing and got it all back together.
Took a quick video of it with a few low revs .

White isn't that bad, but if you wanted to change the color, I can give you a great tip…………"Don't try doing yourself, lol" . I learned the hard way. And I was pretty patient with the body work and prep.

Seriously, white does look good.

So I have had a rattily sound in between shifts and when ever I revved the engine up , I got under there to day and could hear it when I smacked the mid pipe , checked the flange at the header collector and sure enough both sides they ran out of threads when they installed the mid pipe so that left the lower flange loose enough to rattle.

I also noticed that I have a slight engine vibration between 2500 and 3500 then it clears up so I changed the balancer yesterday because I did notice it wobbled a bit , but the engine vibration is still present. So I decided that I would just drop the mid pipe pull the drive shaft and yank the trans out today to check the clutch and flywheel.

It has an aluminum fly wheel I would almost venture to bet they installed the wrong flywheel for that engine. Since I have a 50oz balancer it should be a 50oz flywheel. I bet they installed a 0 imbalance or a 28 oz flywheel in it. Any ways I need to check the clutch and all that to make sure they got it installed good ie no loose bolts or any thing like that. Hopefully I find a 28oz counter and I can remove it and swap it for a 50oz counter. Im about to go pull the gear box off the bell housing now and pull it out. Makes the job much easier that way

I would think if the wrong counter weights were used, you would feel it all the time. Not just rpm specific, and especially at higher rpm's

That's what I thought too, but It does it only between 2500-3500 regardless of moving or sitting still with the clutch in. I did find a bell housing bolt that was not in all the way and its missing a trans mount bolt so Im going to try and put a trans mount bolt in and check all the bell housing bolts tighten them up and slap the mid pip back in for now , lol im not as much in the mood for pulling the gear box as I thought I was .

Is it possible Im just not used to the aluminum flywheel and its a normal thing ?

The mounts seem good , Im wondering though if it isn't because they used polly mounts for the engine and Im just not use to it.

On a side note;; both sides of the exhaust were loose at the collectors , like real loose possibly sucking a lot of air and causing a rich miss in that range? The car does seem to run a tad rich with the 30lb injectors. The fuel pressure is right at about 36 psi on the gauge that is installed on the line . Im gonna put it all back together and run it for and see if it is just a miss im feeling. The engine pulls hard as hell though
