Pic's would be nice, cause it's hard to say without seeing the car. Sounds nice thou, do you know the owner or is this off a Craigslist ad? " Reliable and fast " is kinda a catch 22, usually don't go together but if built right maybe. It's your call, I usually give it a couple days and if I can't stop thinking about it, then make an offer YOUR comfortable with. If he's got all the receipts, that helps alot.

You'd better hope the machine work quality is excellent with that build. Mexican or not, its still a 302. I would have hoped they'd have taken advantage of a slightly stronger block and been spot on with machine work and balancing

Im a bit skeptical on why someone would put a brand new turbo on it have it dyno'd drive it 30 miles then sell it.

If it truly made 603 on the dyno that is really pushing that block . For 10k the entire car would have to be emaculant in show room condition. For me big motors , turbos and mods don't dictate price, if the car is not exceptionally clean inside and out. Try and get some pics up or post a link to the add where you found it.

Your market dictates the price of it. Frankly I don't think the guy is out of line at 10k for the car. It looks to be really clean and there is a lot of work done to it.

I would ask for receipts and dyno sheets , any kind of records he has. Those will speak a lot for the work.

Considering there are not that many of them for sale in that area and the ones that are for sale are mostly stock , and they are asking between 5-8k.
