water coming from exhaust on new 347
guys,i just finished install of a 347 I got from jegs,it runs like rapped ape,but there is a lot of water coming from tail pipes, could this be intake issue, after this is fixed do I need to move to mass air

How much water? Is it just water or is it mixed with coolant?
Water coming out of the exhaust is typical especially when its cold . condensation build up in the exhaust spits out the back . Also are you using cats ? The old 2 way cats when the engine was running at optimal would produce water as a by product.
1.Oxidation of carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide: 2CO + O2 → 2CO2
2.Oxidation of hydrocarbons (unburnt and partially burnt fuel) to carbon dioxide and water: CxH2x+2 + [(3x+1)/2] O2 → xCO2 + (x+1) H2O (a combustion reaction)
If you have coolant in the mix coming out then it would likely be in the form of steam because the hot exhaust gasses and combustion would vaporize the liquid as it exited the exhaust port of the heads. If enough coolant was entering the cylinders to make it out the tail pipes I suspect the engine would run like poop.

Did you install the intake or was it already a fully assembled engine?
Only 2 ways coolant can enter the cylinder . the intake or the head gaskets.
Id pull the intake and reseal it . I always use rtv around the coolant ports on both sides of the gasket, and use at least 4 studs to set the intake down this helps ensure that the gaskets don't slide down and also helps to line the intake up as it goes on.
If after relealing the intake you still get a lot of water out the exhaust look into a bad head gasket install. I don't have much experience with crate moters so I don't know how reliable jegs builders are.
Before any thing you need to be sure also that your not getting any coolant into the oil sump It is possible even if its the intake that coolant is running into the lifter valley and draining into the sump.
