Just rebuilt my motor with gt40x head ford racing b cam bored gt40 intake msd distributor coil and ignition 1.6 rockers 75mm tb and egr delete spacer lightweight pullys and coldair intake sure I missing some stuff how hp should I have on the motor bottom block is from atrue 93 cobra

Hard to say, more than it did have lol .

I have almost identical set up as you with a few differences and I have no idea what my rwhp is. If I ever get a chance id like to get it to the track but this year is about done and I don't think ill make it.


Im guessing some where between 280 and 300 but you really need to get it on the dyno to know with any certainty.

the block being from a cobra isnt anything special compared to a regular 5.0ho

I'd say your pushing closer to 483 to 484.

But like tin said, dragstrips don't lie, dyno's can. And dawson's estimate is close. I'd say a couple ponys less. Only one way to find out.

I went to track friday and my fastest time was 14.944 thats spinning all threw first and some of second gear any ideas on how to get better traction

Ok, what was the speed on that run and what was the weight of car?
Post that up and I can make an educated guess.......
