Default HO intake vs Cobra intake

I just bought a 1988 GT convertible and in the trunk was a Cobra Intake. Is it worth any additional horsepower to change it or stick with the original?
For some reason my insert image button isn't working, Hope this works

I think that cobra intake is 94-95 mustang and will not work with your set up ? To get any results you need to do a Head Cam Intake Swap all at once with all the other mods needed like headers, throttle body 255 walbro fuel pump, other wise your pissing in the wind!

.

Thanks for the info. I guess that's the 75th lie the previous owner told me. Looks like it's going on eBay.

That is for a 94/95 cobra , it could be used but youd have to set the throttle linkage up like the 94/95.

And if it is only the upper its worthless because the lower is different .

Better off to try and sell it , it could fetch 100 bucks .

I have the upper and lower. With the price of scrap aluminum I might be better off melting it down. Lol

Thanks again. Listed it on CL had a bite in 20 minutes. Buyer said he hasn't seen the whole set up for less than $300. I guess I should have told you it was everything from air box to gaskets. Didn't pay for it so I'm a head of the game.
