65raven65- you got a good deal in my opinion. Some fox bodies go for crazy prices here in Houston. I love the T-top and I understand what you mean about the thumbs up thing everywhere you go, because I get the same thing. Keep up the great work and maybe I'll see you around in Houston.

I was thinking, uh oh, I might have made a mistake, not really sure if the defrost works in this thing.

Turned on the rear defrost and within about 90 seconds I could tell that it still works!

Turned on the defrost for the windshield, not knowing if the blend selector even worked, but it does!

Not bad for a 28 year old American car.

Nice looking car. My ex and I briefly owned an '87 notchback LX 2.3 back in the day, pretty much completely loaded - a program car. We were very happy with it but traded it little over a year later for a loaded Ranger XLT 'Summer Edition' promotion.

Thanks! Really enjoying being back in a Foxbody.

I'm continually amazed at this thing.

I drove it to work this morning, and the weather was such that my windshield fogged up on the outside. I hit the wipers, but the car was dusty so it just kinda made a smeared muddy mess, so I hit the washers not know what to expect, I'd never tried them since I bought the car.

The washers work!

29 year old American car, built in the 80s, arguably not the high point of American cars.

What a machine this thing is though.

Haven't updated in a while.

I just removed all of the old exhaust, from headers back.

I bought BBK ceramic coated shortys, BBK off road H-pipe, and 2 chamber Flowmasters with turndowns with flowtubes already welded on.

Should all bolt up fairly quickly. All the old stuff came off surprisingly easy too. No stripped bolt heads, no seized bolts. The tailpipes were so rusted the Sawsall sliced right through them.

It should sound good without the cats, and with the turndowns.

While it's on the jackstands I'm going to throw on my 93 Cobra wheels that I bought a couple years ago and never put on the car.

I'll post pics when I'm done.

Got the exhaust on finally, and got the Cobra wheels on it.

Body looks really straight on that car, eb2gt!

Paint is going to do wonders!

Finally took it for a cruise today, damn this thing is LOUD!

LOL

I forgot how loud foxbodys with turndowns are!

Sounds great though, really happy with the results!
