I disagree, I think the kit is a great option, and a reasonable price.
To stroke the engine, he'd have to pull the entire engine, have the block machined, etc, and at the end he would have the same head/intake/cam combo that he has now, so he won't have gained anything but another 45cid. To make use of it, he would still
need a head/intake/cam combo to make use of the new found displacement.
I don't see any benefit of doing a rebuild, which is what a stroker kit would be, with a perfectly working bottom end. Why not wait until the bottom end is in need of a rebuild to stroke it?
And I'm pretty sure that he would enjoy the 350bhp in the meantime, no?
If it were in stock, I'd order it myself, but it looks like it's out of stock for now anyway, hopefully the OP snagged one before this.
