Default Emergency brake not holding

I have a 92 LX with a Thunderbird converted rear disc brake setup. I was under the car and there are no cable adjustments. I am wondering if there are any adjustments that can be made on the handle mechanism. Has anyone else ever had to deal with this?

I know with the FRRP rear disc kit there are some modifications required to the handle to make it work correctly. Not sure if that is your problem but you might want to research it.

There is a thread somewhere on here with steps to tighten it. Pretty sure its tightened at the handle and not under the car.
