Default Potentially purchasing 1993 Mustang Cobra

I am looking to buy a cobra. 57,000 original miles. New factory cobra crate motor new t-5 transmission king cobra clutch gt 40 head and intake. New cobra radiator rebuilt rear with 3:73 and cobra discs front and rear. The car was rebuilt new 3 years ago including suspension, new ac that was converted to r134 new heater core factory interior. New carpet. Ac blows cold. It pulls nice. Has electric dumps. The car was gone over front to back new steering rack and power steering pump. Only catch is it had a crash in 2002 with airbag deployment. It was repaired. One area on the passenger side strut tower has me concerned. It was cut out and a new botched job welded in. The torque boxes were reinforced. It is a little rusty after the rebuild from 3 years ago. But I think it's ok. What do you guys think about the history with crash and the damaged strut tower. He was asking $12,500. I got him down to $11,000 with throwing in a new factory oem apron, spare 10th anniversary cobra wheel, doors, and many other parts. What do you guys think of this deal? Sorry for long post. Outside needs a new paint job and body work but it will get by eventually I'll get it done!

Sorry for poor photos. Please help me decide to get this or not. I am looking to pick it up Wednesday. I attached photos in my profile. Can you please take a look in there and help me before I make a large investment. The photo of the strut tower is tough to see but if you look close you can see the shoddy job of welding with a hole still. Any and all advice input or opinions are extremely welcomed!

Dont think id give any thing over $10k for it. 93 cobras are valuable but having a crate engine may hurt that some.

Dude to me 12 grand for any fox is to much. But your describing a less than perfect car. The crate motor is still a stand issue 302.

A less than perfect car meaning it sounds like a pretty decent car?

if it's a correct replacement cobra motor, it's not a regular 302 h.o.....if the car is clean and relatively unmolested, cobra's of that vintage fetch 13-18k, but that one depending on how botched stuff is, value is hard to determine without pics....maybe 9-11k max with wreck issue.

Trying to access value is hard but the above decribed car in my area goes for about $7500. I guess we're just not impressed with gt40 heads. LOL

Seems to have a lot of work done and parts replaced for a 57k original mile car. You would think with that low of mileage, the car would have been in better condition. Did you check the title to make sure it is clean, along with carfax?

Did you even check the vin to make sure it is a real Cobra?
