I did. If you read my other post you will read that I had a bad reman Cardone Dizzy! Took cobra out for a few semi-road trips this last week and no issue! Trust me, I had these gears for about a month now and would not install them until I fixed prob! I know my cobra is pretty rare and would hate to see it deteriorate. Im more of a fix it or I cant live on type of person!

Thanks man! Quick fact. I unplugged my VSS because im waiting on the speedo gear and I didn't want my miles to spike up. Get this. I was driving very happy thinking "kool, no more highspeed mileage" come to a light and car dies. did this until I went home and plugged VSS back on! This BLOWS... LOL

hi,
there is really a big difference between oem gears and the after market ford racing ones? I'll really notice that I went from oem gears to 3.73 or 4.1?
also, why did you install 3.73 and not 4.1? what are the reasons someone would go 3.73 or 4.1...
leaving gas milage out of equation can you drive 4.1 ok on highway or it's too noisy or you lose speed...?
I just drive mine on the streets to go get milk fast do you suggest 3.73 or 4.1? I was thinking 3.73 to be safe but I would not mind 4.1
I'm thinking about also changing rear tires for 275, shaft and clutch. is there a need for that? I just don't want to put all the power on the ground and end up with a broken oem shaft or oem clutch problems or... and I have nothing to do on my car so I want stuff to do on the car during the winter LOL
sorry hope I'm not hijacking your thread.
thank you.
