The only driveability issue with 3.73 gears is you will lose some highway gas mileage, near 5 mpg. Around town it will stay about the same, you'll just be in 5th a lot more than you used to be. Lack of traction is going to be your next issue...but they will be fun!

i don't think traction is going to be that big of an issue at your power level. You'll just have to learn a little throttle control vs. just mashing the peddle to the floor board.

I had 3.73s in my 94 with just simple mods like gt40 intake and long tube headers, and that car was fun as hell to drive. I didn't really suffer any traction issues other than in first if I really jump on the throttle hard. You will love the 3.73s, and on a mostly stock engine 3.55s just wouldn't be as fun.

Are you sure its 2.73s , cause the stock GTs were 3.08.

The base coupe v6 was 2.73

i don't know if it was a optional thing or what but my 95 had 2.73s also. Got some sexy 2.2 sixtys when the car was stock.

quite possibly was an option, I guess I assumed they were 3.08 from the factory cause that's what my 94 was.

Yep 2.73's were they base option but nearly everyone got a factory upgrade to 3.08's. Bought my car from and old lady so I don't think she really cared lol
