E303 Cam with S.O. 302 Engine?

E303 Cam with S.O. 302 Engine?
So, I've looked for this for quite a while, but can't seem to find an answer, so hopefully someone can elaborate.
I know that someone said that with the flat-top pistons (no-valve-reliefs), I could replace the cam with the H.O. cam. Is it possible to run the e303 cam?
I know piston-to-valve clearance could be an issue, so I'm not really sure what to expect, was hoping someone knew so I didn't have to find out the hard way (with the cam-in-hand only to find out it's not going to work).
