Default Well its that time again, and the hunt begins.

So many of you know I have gone through a few mustangs over the last few years, and history repeats itself once again. The 2000 GT sold for a little over 5k netting me a tidy profit of almost 2k. So its back to chasing wild ponies.

I have maybe narrowed my search down to a few, and its only a matter of driving to go look at them , 1st up is this beautiful 82 fox. Unfortunately the guy has provided little to no information on the car, but Im digging the older style front end with the cowled hood along with the orange paint and chrome rims.

Next Im really liking this 85, canary yellow gt. with the centerline wheels, yet again not a lot of information to go on and Im not keen on the " bigger cam idk size was told head work also " part but I will hold judgment until further inspection of the car.

And lastly we have an 89 fox with quite a bit of work done to it, and still needs a lot to make it worthy , but for the most part the big money has been spent. Im not sure about the BBK intake, and Ill reserve judgment on that until I drive it, but for the right price I can do away with it and go to a decent cobra intake. I like that its fuel injected still, and it has a fresh FRPP crate engine in it. Im also not keen on the cage, or the rear seat delete , but I have very cheap 2.3l interior parts car lined up if needed. I just hope the guy doesn't have any delusions about getting his money back out of the car. Honestly it needs some attention to the interior.

Now of course Im not going to offer any of these guys the asking price , infact Im going to try and beat em up a little on price.

I have an Idea of about what I can pay for them , and what I will be able to resell for when the time comes.

Lol, you keep this up and the state will be knocking at your door to see you dealer license.

My vote goes for the 82 just on looks alone. That way you can be just like me lol. Except that orange paint looks good.

Good luck,

Lol they told me Im allowed 4 cars in a 12 month period , and the 2000 was my 4th. Ill have to wait a few months for the 94 to drop off before I can sell another one.

I do like the 82 , but Ill know more If I can get ahold of the guy since he dosnt have a number listed to call. Emailed him this morning to have him call me. My main concern on that one is how much if any body work has been done to it, and what condition the brake and fuel lines are in.

Ha well after a little detective work, (looked up the yellow cars owner on fb via phone number ) he has pictures of it on his facebook and is talking to his friends about it, just got it in aug, and says it has stock carb that needs rebuilt or replaced and thinks either rings or valve seats are bad because it has no power.

Haha yea that significantly lowed his bargaining power. Id probly offer him 2k for it, pull the engine and drop a crate engine in it, and Im not sure he would like to get beat up that bad on it.

The other 2 guys don't seem to want to answer the phone so, Im still looking.
