This old guy needs advice. The IAC is not working as it does not raise the idle with the air con turned on or at any other time for that matter. Not cold start, nada.

OK I have replace it three times with brand new units and th eon eon it currently is from Ford. It is not the IAC? I replaced the TPM some other associated components.
So is it possible the ECU is faulty? Good luck finding one, right?

Any thoughts?

Did you try doing a base idle reset after replacing the valve? If not google it and youll find articles about it.

Yes I did. I have done everything I can think of. It is like it is not getting a signal to work. The 5 volt wire is broken or no signal.

have you tried removing the IAC and just have someone turn the key and verify that it moves? It IS possible it would push the pintle all the way out but at least you know its working.
You have removed the throttle body and cleaned it WELL and made sure the pintle seat is free of carbon and crud?
Also, and this is just a shot in the dark here.
That car is fuel injected isnt it?
I had a problem with a 95 that it woudnt raise the idle at all. But it would run kinda sluggish at some times but decent at others.
It turned out to be an injector. I checked the resistance and one of them was half what the others were.
Just an idea.

It is a new Ford Crate motor. Everything on it is brand new.
My suspect now is , it is not getting a signal to operate or the feed wire is broken.
