Car runs great man! Thanks for all the input thus far! As much fun as the 363 would be my "financial advisor" is convinced I NEED a dart block right now haha! Looks like that's been ruled out of the equation... For now lol! I'm looking at a kit through late model restoration right now that seems pretty decent. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...5-Flat-Top-Pis

Looks like a nice kit but it's the stock block that's in danger once you exceeded 500 wheel horse power. MJRs advice is spot on. Keep the revs below 6500 and have your tune perfect and the motor can last a while. Even if you only make 375-400whp the car will be a beast on the street.

Ok, I use an early 302 truck block (1969) a 3.4 stroke crank, that early block took a .060 overbore fine. I use Eddy VicJr. heads and intake with a Quickfuel 750 carb. I use a solid roller of 142@.050 cam, lift .630ish. Use a C-4 trans with a 4500 convertor, 4.30 gears.
Car is 2775 with me onboard.
I've run 10.85 many times as well as 125+ lots of times.
This is in dry desert air in air density of 3600-4000'.
Sea level like most people live at or near I think the car would run 10.50's.
There are NO custom built parts on the car and the heads are unported.
In fact I think every part on the car was out for sale 20+ years ago.....
