Low RPM hesitation / misfire between 900-1200

Default Low RPM hesitation / misfire between 900-1200

I wanted to know if anyone has or had the same low RPM hesitation/misfire as I do. Between 900-1200 I have a hesitation or misfire which vibrates until you pass 1200 rpm. I have replace the plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor but still have the hesitation. I was going to check the gap on the spark plugs and the plug wires just to make sure they good any advice would be very helpful my mustang is an 93 BTW thanks.

Pull codes to see if that points you towards the missfire.

Ok so I wanted to report back and list what the problem was. It was not a miss I thought it was because of the slight vibration at a low rpm range. It was actually the harmonic balancer the bolt that goes into the crank was snapped at the end and that is what caused the vibration which felt like a missing or hesitation. I guess domes you have to experiment a bit, I ended up changing the balancer after removing the bolt which came out after we sprayed PB blast so we did not have to drill it out. The bolt if anyone is curious is 5/8 X 18 X 1 3/4 I ended up using a 2in and used an extra washer now my fox runs smooth as can be once I get it repainted I'll be ready to sell it. Don't worry I have another fox she is a 88 vert lx hope this helps other guys with the same problem.

Thanks for the update, this really helps the next guy/gal down the road with similar troubles.

Good catch on finding that broken bolt, before things got real expensive lol.
