1994 mustang gt won't start, possible fuel issue
I just got a 1994 5.0 on a trade, but it won't start, consistently.... We got it to start the other day by violently shaking the front end, but that didn't work today... When it ran it had a severe lope, nothing down then going up to 1300-1500 rpm. It has some fuel pressure at the rail (uncertain of how much) and seems to respond to choking by converting the air intake. When firing, it wants to start (pops but it will not catch)

Welcome!
"Shaking the front end"... that's interesting. In the event of a crank/no start condition, I always recommend checking the battery and cables/connections first. I wonder if shaking the car is jiggling a loose ground or something.
It's very hard to comment on the fuel pressure until it's clear exactly how much you have. Need to get a gauge on there...
What do you mean by "choking" and "converting" the intake? Did you install a new manifold and/or tube?

Checked the battery cables, try are good.... I think it may still be a wire but something in the fuel system? According to a gague on the rail I have thirty lbs of pressure...
Also it was supposed to say "covering not converting.... Auto correct.... We just blocked the air at tube to force it to draw fuel which got it to sound hopeful but not start

Yours sounds like a fuel pump gone bad. My nb did more than dribble, it sent a little fuel all the way to the hood
Does yours squirt out or just like leak out I seem to be having troubles with my fuel pressure also but mine just dribbles out I had a no crank no start problem I replaced the ground cable from the battery to the block and it'll crank but like I said almost no fuel pressure at all

feel like an idiot... it was an ignition fuse, i had pulled it but hadn't inspected it closely enough to see the break.... i ended up draining the tank, replacing the fuel pump (it was sounding bad), replaced the fuel filter (was nasty), then pulled the upper intake and cleaned the injectors. put it all back together, still wouldnt start.... realized the pressure regulator wasn't working hence the low pressure, replaced it, brought fuel pressure up to 40 psi from 25-30 psi, after all of this a friend double checked the fuses and found the break. oh well, another lesson learned, and hey SHE RUNS!
