Right now I'm running on bf Goodrich g force sport comp 2's...255/50 16. They get some pretty good traction. Shouldn't have a problem there
If you want the best times possible, nothing beats a slick. Keep an eye out on Craigslist for a used set. They pop up once in a while and at decent prices. Usually already mounted on rims. I picked up my set of Weld big and littles for $350 ready to run. There's nothing like the feeling you get being able to launch at 3500/4500 rpm and "NOT" spin. It's very addicting lol.
I'm thinking your going to spin with those Comp 2's with anything near an aggressive launch.
