GT-40 vs. GT-40P heads

I appreciate the advice. My definite first mod is 4.10 gear set. I know the transmission is going to need work to be reliable under more HP. I will keep you guys posted on my progress and come back for advice on the next mod.

One thing not mentioned is losing weight. A tubular k member and brakes and maybe even wheels and tires would be beneficial. These things would also benefit fuel economy. As the others mentioned gt40 heads aren't a bad upgrade but there are options. 1.7 rockers is another nice upgrade without changing heads. I got a set of gt40's at the flow bench now having a 5 angle valve job and get some numbers.
