Default 1984 GT350

I am looking at an 84 GT that the man purports to be a GT350. It's rougher than a night in jail but there is no rust and it has never been hit.

Question: How do I know that it's a real GT350 and not a poser?

All I really know about the 84 gt350s is they are all white with canyon red interior. It should say on the title also if its a gt350. It may even say 20th anniversary on the glovebox badge. I think they got some funky looking sports seats with the open head rests.

+1 ^^^. Halo headrests is what I've seen them called.

Don't know much more about them, but this new build thread your starting should educate us lol.

Well, the interior color is correct and the dash badges are there. The seats are white leather and look like at one time they were pretty nice. The headrests are not the halo type though.

Somebody put white seats in a canyon red car? This is a quote from CJ pony parts

"The 20th Anniversary GT350 Mustang was not as well-received as its namesake due to fact that it only contained cosmetic upgrades. In addition to the distinctive Oxford White paint job, the GT350 featured a dark red interior, fog lights, special badging and bumper striping, as well as a front air dam. The only significant performance upgrade was the TRX handling package, which further refined the GT’s stock suspension." Dont know if any of that will help you ,, look for the bumper striping, but it should have canyon red seats as well.
