2015 5.0 clutch question
So, as some of you may have read before, i'm still waiting to pick up my 'stang. Should be the end of the month, though! I'm excited!. But anyway...
I got the opportunity to drive one recently, and I noticed that the clutch seemed finicky. Before i go into what i felt at my left foot, I'll preface this by saying that i do not own a car in a manual transmission, i have never owned a manual transmission vehicle, therefore i've never driven one every day. That being said, when my cousin got his vette 10 years ago, i learned manual for it, ha. Since then, i've driven a manual car ever chance i've gotten, and i like to think that i've gotten rather decent at it. My cousin now has a 2014 5.0, and i drove that. It wasn't hard to be smooth with, and i like to think that i wasn't as bad as what i did in the 15. But maybe what i did/noticed in the 15 wasn't that bad. Who knows?
Back to the point. At first glance, i didn't think anything of it, but as time went on, i noticed that the clutch felt almost as if it had a "dual stage" friction zone. I'd get it to move as it normally would, and then, it almost felt like I let a second clutch out too fast. It made being smooth while shifting a really thought intense endeavor. I didn't stall, but i think i gave the salesman a concussion via the headrest, lol.
Anyway, did they do something noticeably different with the clutch setup this year? I don't remember it being this way on the 14. Or was i just so excited to drive it that all my finesse went out the window? I figure it's just going to take some getting used to, and it's probably just me.
Any thoughts?
Thanks, all

I had a 2013 5.0 with 6spd manual that I traded in on a 2015 GT with 6spd manual. The transmissions are pretty much the same, except they beefed up the shifter and the throws, they also put in a totally different clutch in the '15. The '15 does feel like it has two stages, but it's a good feel, though. Once you get the clutch down, the '15 is so much smoother all around.

Pretty much all I drive anymore are manuals. I had my '13 5.0 for 2 years and $17.7k miles, the transmission, clutch and I, felt like we were meant for each other...on the other hand, my '15 GT 6spd and I, need to work on our relationship a bit more lol. Trust me, it's a good thing, what Ford did with the '15 manual transmission. It's hard to believe that it's, essentially, the same gearbox.
