Yup if you run the report with any dash lights on, they will show up on the report. I ran one once with the key on, but the engine not running. It reported problems with my brakes (p-brake on), oil pressure and battery/charging system.

if i were working on it under warranty and the failed belt had damaged the oil pan, i would have replaced it under warranty. however its much more likely that a piece of the belt got into the crank seal and damaged it. easy fix
