I'm sorry I forgot to mention I'm driving a 2016 GT with a manual transmission and I'm not talking about traction control. I'm talking about the Launch control setting on the Track Apps.

You're welcome! Try figuring it out on an automatic!

Also launch control will not activate if the engine is below 180°. Which if you try it on a cold engine you deserve to not know how to use it. Good way to do serious engine damage.

I'm trying it on a warm engine and I still can't figure out how it works.

Tried mine out yesterday. Set it for 4500 and dumped the clutch. Had Traction in Sport lock so it spun a little then grabbed. Only issue is when I was moving it stopped revving past 4500. Seems like it set the rev limiter at 4500 for the next shifts as well. Felt like I had to short shift. Would have been embarrassing if I was racing. Didn't want to play around too much and experiment more. Is it supposed to work like that, or should I have full redline with clutch out after launch?

Did you accidentally still have a heavy foot on the clutch? It will still hold the rpm until the clutch is fully released. You should have full rpm range after launching.

Guess I'll have to try it again to see.

The way I read it is that you have to be in Track mode for it to work. You should be able to set your RPM's and depress your accelerator to the floor and your RPM's won't go past that designated RPM. That is the way that I read the book but I have gone to track mode and set my RPM's but it doesn't work so I'm doing something wrong or I'm not understanding it correctly.

You do NOT have to be in track mode. any mode it will work. have to make sure the check box on the menu is checked, rpm set, and engine temp to 180. then an "LC" will appear on the lower right of the screen, or "RPM" if traction control is turned off. also the clutch must be pushed in completely, cant "test" it without pushing in the clutch.
