Default Traction Control won't turn off!

I no longer can turn off the "Traction Control" on my 2016 GT since I put a Roush Supercharger on it in either Sport or Track mode. Holding the toggle for 30 seconds didn't work! The dash indicator says traction control is off, but it is not! It did work once because I tried it with TC off & the car was an "UNGUIDED MISSILE". I don't need or use it with the TC off, but I might like to play with it once in a while? My car has a Roush Supercharger on it & I'm wondering if that has any affect on the TC not working! Maybe Roush is trying to save my life!

you didnt turn of advance trac. push the tc off button 1 time, the message will appear that says tc is off, then push and hold the button again till a message appears that says advance trac is off. if you dont turn advance trac off it will still modulate power to the rear to prevent the car from getting out of control.

Ha Ha! Thanx for the info. I'll try that! Listen for the crash & you'll know it worked! I got it to work once & with 670+ HP my car was an unguided missile with my stock tires. I don't want to use it much, but I was curious why it didn't work. If I got wide tires, I'd need stronger axles... & I don't race, but if would be nice to light them up more than 10 ft. once in a while. Kids gotta have fun even at 74!

I can not imagine driving a supercharged engine with stock tires smaller then 275 wow death warrant. I can assure you some 305 wide tires will make it put the power to the ground and you could enjoy driving with traction control off and will not break your half shafts. I have 305 on mine with stock halfshafts. I also do not track it if I did I may upgrade but it will still spin the 305 on the street I don't floor it from a dead stop as they could break them just common sense but yeah it runs better more power with traction off when street is warm 75 or better

I followed the instructions, but the "advance trac message" never showed! I drove down a safe blvd. & at about 50 mph I floored it.... & the car start to go sideways.... YIKES! I think it was off!

Automatics are amazing int Sport or Track Mode with a Supercharger because those modes keep the RPM's up & it is tremendously responsive. With the auto trans. I all I have to do is modulate the gas pedal & steer & it's like an pro driver is shifting the trans. up & down through the gears!
